The Stouffville Spirit defeated the Trenton Golden Hawks 6-2 on Saturday Night.
Taeo Artichuk and Barret Joynt scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks opened scoring with a power play goal late in the first frame, but the Spirit came back early in the second to even things out. After a final goal by the Golden Hawks the spirit went on a rampage, racking up three more second period goals, and then two more in the third to win the game.
The Golden Hawks are back in action on Friday, hosting the Lindasy Muskies at the Dunc.
