Correctional Service Canada says an inmate has died while within their custody.
Forty-one-year-old Taran Morrison, an inmate at Millhaven Institution, passed away.
Morrison had been serving a sentence of three years, five months and 27 days for robbery, break and enter (x3), mischief and carrying a concealed weapon since January 19, 2021.
Next of kin have been notified.
The CSC says a quality of care review is being conducted to examine the facts surrounding the death.
A cause of death will be determined by the coroner.
