Two Belleville men faces a serious charge after fighting with not only police officers, but an officer working for the Ministry of Transportation.
The incident occurred at around 9 o’clock Friday morning when the Ministry officer stopped a vehicle and asked for documentation on Cannifton Road, near Byron Street.
City police arrived to help the Ministry official.
Charged with Assaulting a Peace Officer were 31 year-old Andrew Mackinlay and 34 year-old Matthew Mackinlay.
They appear in court in March.
