Brighton council will continue 2024 budget discussions at a special meeting Monday.
The latest budget proposal shows a just over seven per cent tax increase which would translate to
around $350 dollars a year more in taxes on home valued at $400,000.
The draft budget includes several new staff members in administration, public works, and parks and recreation.
The hiring was spurred by an Organizational Review approved by council in 2022.
