John McDonald is retiring from his hockey career.
McDonald has been in a variety of roles throughout his hockey career from playing in a NHL exhibition game to being a coach, general manager, and Director of Hockey Operations as well as being a Team Owner.
McDonald served as the Director of Hockey Operations for the Golden Hawks when the team won the Buckland Cup in 2016.
The Golden Hawks will be celebrating with a John McDonald Night set for Friday, January 26 against the Wellington Dukes.
