A man has been sentenced to 12 months in jail, as well as a two-year driving prohibition, for a June 2023 fail to remain at vehicle case.
On June 7, 2023, OPP responded to the area of Marmora and College streets in Trenton around 9:45 p.m. on a report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian and leaving the area.
The victim suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, and was transported to a Kingston hospital for medical treatment.
Timothy Gould was sentenced on charges of fail to stop after accident – knowing bodily harm caused and public mischief – false accusation.
The case was dealt with on Friday.
