Police are continuing a major search for a missing woman in Tyendinaga.
Very early Tuesday morning, OPP and Tyendinaga police officers began stopping vehicles at the intersection of Old Highway 2 and York Road in Shannonville asking drivers if they had any information on the whereabouts of a 38-year-old woman last seen in that exact area on January 9.
The missing woman has only been identified to media as Michelle.
Police have conducted ground and air searches of the area.
Investigators are looking for anyone with dashcam, doorbell or surveillance video in the area on January 9, 2024, between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
Investigators are also looking to speak with the driver or owner of a grey coloured small car that stopped at a business at York Road and Atsia Court on January 9, 2024 around 6:00 a.m.
