It’s a silver medal for Trenton’s Trennt Michaud and partner Lia Pereira in the Senior Pairs competition at the Skate Canada National Championships in Calgary.
The duo won a bronze medal at the Nationals a year ago.
Michaud and Pereira finished second in both the short and free program.
It’s been a good season so far for Michaud and Pereira after a gold medal performance at the Grand Prix de France in November.
Still with the Nationals, Frankford’s Chloe Choinard and her NEXXICE team earned a bronze medal in the Senior Synchronized category.
Choinard and her team now head to Hungary for the International Skating Union Challenger Series which begins this weekend.
