The first step in developing a property along Old Highway 2 has gone through.
Quinte West City Council passed a by-law that would allow a maximum of 16 condominium townhouse units to be serviced by a municipal water and communal sewage system.
The properties are located at 564 and 578A Old Highway 2 in Sidney Ward.
Four blocks of one-storey townhouse units are seen on the north side of the property towards the Bay of Quinte in Andrew Smith Building Design Inc.’s preliminary site plan.
Each of those blocks would contain four dwelling units.
