Salvation Army Belleville has announced that it has exceeded its Christmas campaign goal of $365,000.
As of midday December 28, the total reached was $372,828.69.
The $365,000 goal was $50,000 more than previous years.
“The need is greater than ever before. We are beyond grateful to everyone who went above and beyond, who donated and showed their support these past few weeks so that we can continue to offer hope 365 days a year here in Belleville,” Christmas Campaign Coordinator for Salvation Army Belleville, Amanda Robinson, says in a statement.
