Quinte West City Council will continue to review the 2024 budget at a meeting set for January 8.
Council is exploring options addressing the originally proposed 9.26% tax levy increase.
Budget discussions began on December 6 and 7. A third budget meeting was held on December 11 where council received department presentations and heard requests for funding from external agencies and community groups.
The January 8 meeting will begin at 9 a.m. inside council chambers.
