The Trenton Golden Hawks held a 3-2 lead early in the third period but then the roof caved in as the St. Michaels Buzzers reeled off five straight goals while skating to a 7-4 win over the visitors.
It’s just the fifth regulation loss of the season for Trenton.
Taeo Artichuk (8th), Matthew Lee (8th), Barret Joynt – 23rd) and Luke Hampel (9th-en) scored for Trenton.
Tonight (Fri) the G-Hawks host the Stouffville Spirit in their last game until January 5th. Game time is 7:30.
Napanee 6 Picton 3
In Junior C play in Picton the Napanee Raiders scored four goals in the first period, and that was enough as they beat Pirates 6-3. Marshall McFarland led the Raiders with two goals and an assist. Tonight (Fri) Napanee is home to Port Hope at 7:30 at the Strathcona Paper Centre.
