The Wellington Dukes demolished the Aurora Tigers 7-1 on Saturday night.
Dimitri-Alexander Tzaferis, Cory Jewitt, Connor Loerzel, Zander Latreille, Connor Hunt, and Ryan Schaap all scored for the Dukes.
The Dukes started strong with two goals in the first period. The Tigers slipped a goal in with barely a minute left on the clock, to get their one and only goal for the game. The Dukes hammered the Tigers with two more unanswered goals in the second period and three more in the third, to build an insurmountable lead and take home the win.
The Dukes are back in action today for the battle of Quinte, hosting the Trenton Golden Hawks at the Duke Dome this afternoon at 2:30.
