The annual fundraising campaign among staff at Belleville General Hospital was a record breaking success this year.
In the largest ever I’M IN Staff Giving Campaign, $175,000 was raised for the Belleville General Hospital Foundation.
Over the past 10 years, staff have raised $1 million for the hospital.
“Belleville General Hospital is so much more than just a healthcare facility; it’s a community dedicated to the well-being of our patients. The success of the I’M IN Staff Giving Campaign reflects the deep sense of commitment and compassion our employees have towards our mission,” said Steve Cook, Executive Director, Belleville General Hospital Foundation.
Funds raised will support critical equipment needs at BGH.
Each participating staff can direct their gift to the area of greatest need, or their own department.
“We are immensely grateful for the generosity displayed by our hospital staff. The I’M IN Staff Giving Campaign not only serves as a testament to their dedication but also reinforces the sense of community within Belleville General Hospital. The Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to every employee who participated and demonstrated the powerful impact of collective support.” added Jennifer McTavish, Community Events Officer.
A total of 511 staff participated, up eight per cent from 2022.
Twenty-two per cent of donors increased their support from last year.
