The Highway 401 on/off ramp at Shannonville Road in Shannonville has reopened after a transport truck rollover closed the ramp earlier today.
At close to 9:38 a.m., police responded to a call for a transport truck that had rolled over and was blocking the ramp. Emergency Medical Services were already on scene when police arrived. The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but had no reported injuries.
The truck suffered heavy damage but did not spill its cargo of apples.
The ramp was closed for nearly three hours while tow trucks righted the truck and took it away.
The ramps reopened at 12:15.
