Neighbour Dispute – Uttering Threats
On November 27, 2023 at 8:25 p.m., Belleville police were called to a neighbour dispute in the city’s north end. An ongoing neighbour dispute escalated and one of the parties threatened to kill the other. As a result, a 42-year-old Belleville man was arrested for uttering threats to cause death and held for a bail hearing.
Intimate Partner Assault and Breach of Undertaking
On November 27, 2023 at 4:22 p.m., police were called to a residence in the city’s east end for an intimate partner dispute in progress. Upon police arrival the male had fled on foot. During the investigation, police learned that the male had physically assaulted a female and he was on conditions not to be around the female. Police located the male a short time later. As a result, a 35-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with assault and breaching his Uundertaking. He was held for a bail hearing.
