Markham scored two goals 1:14 apart in the third to force overtime, and they notched a 4-3 win in Trenton.
Lucas Lapalm was in on every goal with three points.
Despite the loss, the G-Hawks extended their point streak to 11 games.
The Hawks welcome Mississauga Friday.

Ben Vruegdenhill and Cory Jewitt, both had multi-point games.
