A real building boom in the Campbellford, Warkworth and Hastings area.
Trent Hills Planning Director Jim Peters says 36 permits for projects worth six-million dollars were issued in April, including 15 new single family homes.
That is up from only 19 permits for building activity valued at two-million dollars in April of last year.
Peters says a lot of large custom-built homes are going up in Trent Hills this year, keeping local contractors very busy.
