Belleville’s Signal Brewery has been sold.
The brewery, restaurant and entertainment facility has been sold to Skeleton Park Brewery of Kingston.
Signal Brewery, located on River Road, was put up for sale last year following the 2021 passing of owner and founder Richard Courneyea.
The facility has been closed for several months.
The purchase price was not disclosed.
Skeleton has also purchased Spearhead Brewery in Kingston and the three have merged to form Spearhead Brewing Incorporated.
Skeleton Park owner and CEO Trevor Lehoux tells the Kingston Whig Standard he’s been in touch with the Courneyea family and that he plans to continue the legacy at Signal and not much will change.
He intends to keep the space an “events-driven destination” and hopes to also tap back into the wedding market.
