A 37-year-old Trenton man, charged with spitting on Quinte West O-P-P and other offences, will be back in court this thursday.
Mark Just asked to waive his bail hearing yesterday, and was remanded in custody.
Police responded to a domestic incident last friday, and spotted a suspect leaving the scene in a van. The vehicle reached speeds of 100 kilometres an hour, but was finally boxed in on Queen Street, where the suspect resisted arrest and spat on the officers several times.
Just was charged with flight from police, impaired driving, assaulting police and other offences.
