Prince Edward County OPP are investigating some missing traffic signs.
Sometime since the beginning of November, signs were stolen from around the Community Safety zone in Cherry Valley.
The intention of these signs was to remind drivers there are children in the area and to drive accordingly.
The OPP call it concerning as they place emphasis on highway safety through enforcement and education.
The Quinte Region Traffic Coalition, which is comprised of member partners including the Municipality of Prince Edward, installed the signs in areas where there were traffic concerns.
