The fourth annual INKED event raised $20,000 for the Three Oaks Foundation.
According to Three Oaks, the event was created to increase the community’s knowledge of the shelter and the services provided.
Participants paid a $60 registration fee to receive either a tattoo or a piercing.
There were a total of 299 tattoo and 16 piercing participants for the fundraiser.
East Coast Tattoo Studio and Studio 31 took part in the event.
Three Oaks Foundation says Eikon Device Inc. provided supplies for the event for the tattoo shops.
The foundation says they have to fundraise $160,000 in order to cover day-to-day requirements for each fiscal year.
