Julia Wells.
It is with a grievous sense of loss that the family and close friends of Allison (JULIA) Wells announce her death on Monday the 6th of November. She is survived by husband Michael (Mike) Beeston of Belleville and daughter Rachel Banham of Brant County (Jill Scott) and sister Jane Tamburini. She was predeceased by her son David Jarvis Banham, who died at age 5 and her sister Shirley McKeand. Julia was born in December of 1945 in Harrow, England and subsequently lived in various locations in Great Britain before emigrating to Canada in 1983. Julia lived in Toronto, Coe Hill, Bancroft, and Stirling before moving to Belleville in 2016. She will be sorely missed by school chum Pat Geeson (Dodd) of Benfleet U.K., long time friend Eileen Simons, along with all the Simons family. Both Julia and Mike had many good times with Fred and Eileen and were made to feel part of the family.
Julia has been well loved by her treasured “book club” friends Deborah Anderson, Jennifer McTavish, Audra Kent and Rachel Harbour (the husbands too).
She will also be greatly missed by close friends Jeanette Headley of Perth, Nancy Laymann of Bancroft, and Veronica Ball of Belleville.
Among the many others who will feel the loss of her friendship are the frequent dinner companions Andrew and Irene Marre, Larry Groves and Greta, Kevin and Joanne, Doug and Pauline. Julia also had a special place in her heart for her young friend Monica.
Julia’s charm, compassion and generosity to others will never be forgotten by those who met her and anyone who aspires to be more like Julia has a worthwhile and challenging goal.
Julia always appreciated kindness and beauty and so in lieu of flowers a donation to help the hungry and disadvantaged, or a planting to give mother nature a helping hand, would be greatly appreciated.
A celebration of life will be arranged for a future date.
