A busy route for drivers in Belleville will be off limits for much of today (Tuesday).
Shortly after 2 o’clock this morning a tractor trailer leaving a parking lot along Wallbridge-Loyalist Road south of Highway 401 hit communications wires damaging several telephone poles.
Hydro was not affected and no one was injured.
Crews are working on repairs but Wallbridge-Loyalist Road is blocked at Bellevue Drive just north of 401 south to Bell Boulevard and access to the 401 is blocked.
