Health care should soon greatly improve for residents of North Hastings County.
A CT Scanner, commonly known as a Cat Scan, is expected to arrive at North Hastings
Hospital sometime in December at which time staff will undergo training on the machine.
It’s hoped the CT Scan will be up and running early in the new year at the hospital in Bancroft.
When it’s operational, North Hastings residents will no longer have to make long trips to either
Belleville or Peterborough for complex diagnostic imaging.
Meanwhile donations are still needed to meet the “Back the Cat” Campaign’s goal of $2.8 million to pay for the Cat Scan.
