Quinte West firefighters, OPP, and Hastings-Quinte Paramedic Services rushed to a boat launch behind the Duncan McDonald Community Centre in Trenton early Saturday.
At 7:19 in the morning it was reported that a fisherman had found an elderly woman floating face down in the water near the boat launch.
CPR was performed and the woman was taken to Trenton Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
