Several games were played on Saturday involving local hockey teams.
In the local Junior C division, the Frankford Huskies defeated the Napanee Raiders 4-2 and the Port Hope Panthers dismantled the Campbellford Rebels 7-1.
In the Eastern Ontario Super League, the Centre Hastings Ice Miners demolished the Frontenac Phantoms 13-3 while the Deseronto Bulldogs slipped past the Smiths Falls Rideaus 7-6.
There are upcoming games on the docket for three local teams this afternoon.
In Junior A hockey action, the Trenton Golden Hawks are hosing the Haliburton Huskies at the Dunc and the Wellington Dukes are hosting the Stouffville Spirit at the Duke Dome. Both games start at 2:30 this afternoon.
In Junior C, the Picton Pirates take on the Amherstview Jets. The puck drops at 1:30.
