The Quinte Region Traffic Coalition will be participating in the “Safe on Seven” traffic enforcement campaign on Monday.
The campaign will involve stepping up traffic enforcement along Hwy 7 between Hastings County, Lennox and Addington County and Frontenac County.
Participating members of the coalition will include Belleville city police, Quinte West OPP, Madoc OPP, L&A OPP, and Frontenac OPP along with the Ministry of Transportation.
The focus of the campaign will be on moving violations. Officers will be highly visible and focused on the “Big Four” traffic violations that cause injuries: impaired driving, distracted driving, aggressive driving, and lack of seat belts.
