UPDATE: The highway has re-opened.
Prince Edward County OPP say there was a two-vehicle collision during the morning Wednesday on Highway 62 in the area of Cannery Road.
Two individuals were transported to hospital, one with serious injuries.
The extent of the injuries to the other person is not known.
The highway was closed for a few hours for investigation.
No other details have been released.
