While Mayor Neil Ellis and a delegation of council and staff are visiting Lahr, Germany, some citizens of Belleville’s sister city are visiting Canada.
The group stopped in Belleville Tuesday and were welcomed by Councillor Paul Carr who gave them a tour of City Hall and answered questions about the city.
The Belleville delegation is on a week-long visit to Lahr.
There have been several visits between the two cities who have been twinned since 1970.
