Northumberland OPP have made an arrest following an investigation into a reported assault.
Police received a call just after midnight on September 10 of a report of an assault that took place at an event in Grafton.
When officers arrived, they started an investigation based on information provided by the victim.
The victim was treated by Emergency Medical Services.
An individual turned himself in to OPP on October 6 as a result of the investigation.
Thirty-two-year-old Geoffrey Devenport of Stouffville, Ontario was charged with assault causing bodily harm.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on November 29, 2023.
