A RIDE check in Hastings Highlands resulted in the seizure of weapons and drugs and the arrests of two people.
Bancroft OPP made the seizures after stopping a vehicle during a RIDE initiative on Musclow-Greenview Rd on the night of October 5.
As a result of the investigation, 32-year-old Amanda Rodbard and 38-year-old Dustin Beach, both from Bancroft, were arrested on charges of:
Unauthorized possession of a weapon – three counts.
Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was prohibited or restricted weapon – three counts.
Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine.
Possession of a Schedule III Substance – three counts.
Rodbard was charged with additional charge of unauthorized possession of a weapon and occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a prohibited or restricted weapon.
The accused were released and are scheduled to appear in court in Bancroft on October 31.
