Quinte West and Stirling Rawdon Fire departments responded to a call at 6:30 in the morning after a parked dump truck caught fire on Tuftsville Road near Stirling.
Police and ambulance also responded to the call.
The truck was parked next to a garage and a number of propane tanks behind a house on a residential property.
The fire spread from the truck to the garage before firefighters were able to contain the blaze.
