Northumberland OPP have laid weapons and assault charges against a 38-year-old man.
Police were called to Alnwick-Haldimand early on the morning of September 17 after a male was assaulted with a firearm during an apparent dispute.
Police arrested the accused without incident and during the investigation, located a shotgun matching the description of the weapon used in the offence.
Thirty-eight-year-old Brandon Rollings of Hastings is charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, two counts of pointing a firearm and one count of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court November 15.
