The third annual Belleville Diwali Festival is coming soon.
Celebrated in India, Diwali is a celebration of light prevailing over darkness, featuring food, music, dancing, art, and fireworks.
Organized through Discover Belleville, the Chamber of Commerce and members of the Indian community, last year’s Diwali Festival drew around 7,000 people to West Zwick’s Park.
This year’s festival is scheduled for Saturday October 14 from 3 o’clock in the afternoon until 10 o’clock at night.
