The Quinte West OPP) have charged a driver after a traffic stop.
On September 23, 2023 at approximately 9:00 p.m., an officer was patrollin 2nd Dug Hill Road, Trenton, when a vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation.
An investigation revealed that the vehicle’s attached licence plates had been reported stolen. The driver was arrested.
Tyler Bernard, 29 years old, from Quinte West has been charged with the following offence s:
- Possession of property obtained by crime
- Drive motor vehicle no licence
- Use plate not authorized for vehicle
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on November 16, 2023.
