Belleville police responded to 82 calls for service over a 24-hour period from 5 a.m. on September 20, 2023 to 5 a.m. on September 21, 2023.
Theft of Wallet
On September 18, 2023 at 3:30 p.m., officers attended a business on North Front Street regarding a theft. Police were advised by the complainant that he had dropped his wallet near the self-checkout at approximately 3:15 p.m. and when he returned, he could not locate it. Police reviewed video footage and observed a female picking up the wallet and concealing it in her bags. If anyone recognizes the female in the photo, they are asked to contact Sgt Kyle King at kking@bellevilleps.ca
