The City of Quinte West will be recognizing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30.
Quinte West City Council approved the proclamation at its council meeting on Wednesday.
As part of the proclamation, the Quinte West sign and the Veterans Skyway Bridge will be illuminated in the colour between September 28 to October 2.
An Every Child Matters flag will also be installed and flown at half mast from September 28 until October 2.
