A Belleville man will serve time in jail on an indecent exposure to a person under the age of 16 charge.
City police were called to Moira Street West on August 7 after receiving several calls about a man
running around wearing only women’s underwear who was exposing himself near the windows of homes.
Officers found a suspect, who was intoxicated, sitting on a front step.
Last week Wayne Doherty, 60 at the time of the incident, was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 18 months probation, and will be on the sex offender registry for 10 years.
