The Trenton Golden Hawks defeated the St. Michaels Buzzers 6-3 on Friday night.
Charlie Key, Adam O’Marra, Wylie Birkett, Corbin Roach, Ryan Nichols, and David Fournier all scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Buzzers opened scoring in the first period before the Golden Hawks came out swinging in an action-packed second period to first even the score, then take the lead. The Buzzers scored twice more in the second to take the lead back before the Golden Hawks claimed a third goal to tie the score again before the third frame.
In the third period, the Golden Hawks ran away with the game, claiming three unanswered goals to build a commanding lead and win the game.
Trenton’s next game is against the Stouffville Spirit on Saturday.
