Belleville’s Terry Fox Run, raising money for cancer research, is just a day away.
The event happens Sunday, September 17 at West Zwick’s Park.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Lion’s Pavilion with the run scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
With a fundraising goal of $35,000 this year, organizers are also anticipating a big milestone – raising $1 million since the event began in the early 1980s.
