The number of ambulance calls in the first six months of this year are slightly lower than in 2022.
The total calls hit 20,060, 62 fewer than for the same period last year.

New computers:
New ambulance on-board computers will be coming to Hastings County.
On Thursday, County Council approved the order after learning several of the on-board units had failed, resulting in an immediate need to purchase six replacement units at a total cost of $30,000 using budgeted funds.
It will offset the number of replacement computers required in 2024.
