Careless smoking was the cause of a minor fire at a house in Trenton Sunday evening.
Shortly before 8 o’clock, firefighters were called to 228 Dufferin Avenue to deal with a house fire.
It turned out a laundry basket filled with paper and cigarette butts had caught fire.
The fire was put out quickly and no one was injured.
