Belleville council will deal with three major staff recommendation reports at its meeting Monday afternoon.
First up for deliberation and decision is a report on the results of a survey of residents regarding what they
think should be the city’s priorities when it comes to capital spending. Four hundred twenty-two residents answered questions and their highest priorities are roads, water, and wastewater.

Another report recommends council hire two new contract property standards by-law officers as the workload
on current staff has become overwhelming with caseloads being much higher than the municipal average.

And finally, council will be asked to approve the new master plan for Belleville Transit which should lead
