Quinte West OPP have made an arrest in a stabbing investigation in Quinte West.
On July 8, just before midnight, officers responded to a wooded area near Hanna Park in Trenton for a complaint of an assault in progress.
It is alleged it involved a knife.
A suspect fled the scene before police arrived.
A victim sustained significant lacerations to his hand and was transported to hospital for treatment.
On Monday, 21-year-old Phoenix Draper of Belleville turned himself in to police and charged him with assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of uttering threats of death or bodily harm, and failing to comply with a release order.
