McDonald’s Restaurants across Kingston, Gananoque, Napanee, Belleville, Trenton, Madoc, Picton, Campbellford, and Brighton announced today that combined they were able to raise over $37,000 for Hospital Day on Wednesday.
A portion from the sales of Big Macs, McChickens and coffee went to respective local hospital foundations.
The fundraising goal for each hospital foundation is as follows:
- Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation raised funds for two new vital signs monitors,
- Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation raised funds for a new CT Scanner,
- Belleville General Hospital Foundation raised money for cancer care,
- Lennox & Addington County General Hospital Foundation raised money to support local healthcare,
- Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation aimed for Back the Build to help with building the new hospital,
- University Hospitals Kingston Foundation raised funds for Hospice Kingston.
