Belleville Police Service has sworn in a pair of new officers.
Constable Erik Fernandes and Constable Joshua Verbeek were sworn in during a ceremony on Tuesday afternoon at the Quinte Courthouse.
Chief Michael Callaghan presented the new officers with their badges and remarks were made by Deputy Chief Chris Barry and chair of the Belleville Police Service Board Tyler Allsopp.
Family and friends of the new officers were also present.
