The KD Transmission Belleville Bulldogs Senior Men capped their comeback season Saturday with a 57-33 win over the host Mississauga Blues in the Toronto Rugby Union B Division championship match.
Unable to register enough players in time for the TRU 2022 season deadline last year, the Bulldogs returned to action this year with almost 40 registered players, putting together an overall record of 8-and-1 with the most points (420) and tries (72) in the league.
On Saturday, Bulldogs try-scorers were Dan Svoboda, with six, Jarrett Osterhout, Cody Travers and Evan Briden. Slotting converts were Carter Lee, with four, Case McFarland and Braeden Davis.
