It was an amazing weekend for the Quinte Legion Lynx Track and Field team at the National Youth Track and Field Championships in Sherbroke Quebec
Aidan Crawford won a gold medal in the Discus. The 16-year-old is a grade 11 student at Eastside Secondary in Belleville.
17-year-old Kevin Salaudeen continued the momentum by winning the silver medal in U18 Triple Jump with a leap of 13.97 metres, a personal best.
Sydney Johnson (NCC) had a great meet placing 5th in both U16 girls discus and shot put with a new personal best throw of 12.14m.
