One person was treated for injuries by paramedics after a Trenton cab company van hit a hydro pole near Bayside Secondary School early Monday.
The collision occurred shortly after 4 o’clock in the morning and the van caught fire. The driver had managed to get out of the vehicle before the fire fully engulfed it.
Quinte West firefighters from Station 3 had the flames out in about 20 minutes.
OPP and Hydro One also attended the scene.
